False Bay's Engineering NCV programmes are supplied at two campuses: Westlake Campus and Khayelitsha Campus. These Engineering programmes are for a three-year length.

NCV Engineering Course Entry Prerequisites

These courses start off at NCV level 2 plus the minimum need would then be Grade 9 certificate with a pass in Arithmetic.

At the time the student finishes NCVLevel 2, they would then have attained a grade ten certificate. NCV Level three would be grade eleven and NCV Level 4 is grade twelve.

NCV Level 4 is at the exit level, currently being equivalent to NCV engineering a Countrywide Senior Certificate (NSC).

Grade 9 is on NQF level one. Our NCV programmes start NCV degree two and that is equivalent to an NQF level 2.
